Tallahassee Community College recognized scholars and honors students at an end of the year celebration.

28 TCC students were inducted during the 2022 Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society Induction Ceremony.

Over 200 students were selected for TCC's Honors program.

TCC Honors student Sophia Amidi is among 398 selected semifinalists for the prestigious Jack Kent Cooke transfer scholarship. Cooke Transfer Scholars are selected based on their exceptional academic ability and achievement, financial need, persistence, service, and leadership. Students must be currently enrolled in community college and residing in the United States. The Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship seeks to increase the number of community college students completing their education at top four-year institutions.

Three TCC students in the Honors program recently presented at the Florida Collegiate Honors Council Conference, a statewide conference that offers students an opportunity to showcase research and interact with honors students from across the state.

Over 30 TCC students were inducted during the 2019 Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society Induction Ceremony.

Thirty-four Tallahassee Community College (TCC) students, including four from the Caribbean island of St. Maarten, were inducted into Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) on April 24. PTK is the largest and most prestigious honor society for community colleges in the United States. The 34 inductees, which is a record number for TCC, include: Solana Banks; Joshua Breauchy; Ruth Carr; Dylan Ceballos; Seunghui Chae; Thomas Chatelain; Ana Claus; Karey Cone; Delana Duca; Sarah Forner; John Giugliano; Marco Gratta; Lauren Hampton; Rosencio Hassell; Kamaria Imani; Jahmilah Lake; Maurice Lake; Chaquan Marlin Virginia; Cierra Christie McKenzie; Brittany Nix; Savanah Nix; Tamera Phillips; Joshua Reynolds; Deidra Robinson; Thomas Ruriani; Caitlin Scarborough; Nicolas Timmons; Kori Travis; Leila Trom; Kimberlee Watts and Edwin Dewayne Washington, Jr. Eight of these students are international students from China, Brazil, South Korea and Jamaica and 25 from the United States.

Tallahassee Community College has inducted 23 new members into the TCC chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, the international honor society of two-year colleges.

During the Phi Theta Kappa induction ceremony, several TCC students received special awards.

Four Tallahassee Community College students have been named to the 2018 All-Florida Academic Team. Students are selected based on high achievement in the classroom, leadership on campus and service to the community.
