Every semester, TCC students are given the opportunity to observe full-time professionals on the job in a one-day jobshadowing experience. This semester, students connected with local employers and organizations, including Marketing for Change, North Florida Women's Care, the State Capitol and TCC's Communications and Marketing office.

Through TCC's EagleShadow program, students have the opportunity to spend one day observing full-time professionals on-the-job, experience a typical workday and get a sneak peek into their future industry. This semester, Naomi Riggins, a nursing major in her second year at TCC, visited North Florida Women's Care, where she shadowed two nurses and learned what her day-to-day duties would be; she wishes to pursue a career as a labor and delivery nurse. "The experience was amazing," said Naomi. "One thing I gained from this experience is that there's a lot more to nursing than you think, but having this experience just solidified that this is what I want to do."
